Pair of vintage LC7 swivel chairs, design by Charlotte Perriand.
Black structure in original finish. Freshly Re-upholstered in high-quality Swiss Nappa leather.
Early Cassina edition probably from the 1960-1970s (serial numbers 3969 and 4339).
Charlotte Perriand created the LC7 "Siège Tournant" in 1927 for her apartment Place Saint Sulpice in Paris. This design icon was first showcased at the Salon des Artistes Décorateurs in 1928.
Later it was exhibited at the Salon d'Automne in 1929 with the collection co-created by Perriand with Le Corbusier and Pierre Jeanneret.
