Vintage Golden Bell Pendant Lamp by Alvar Aalto for Louis Poulsen, 1960s
The Golden Bell pendant lamp was designed for the interior of the Savoy restaurant in Helsinki by Alvar and his wife Aino in 1936.
It was characteristic of Aalto to treat each building as a complete work of art, right down to the furniture and light fittings.
The shade has a hole pattern all around the rim which creates a nice light and shadow effect all around.
