The Eames Lounge Chair (Model 670) and Ottoman (Model 671) designed by Charles and Ray Eames for Herman Miller is one of the most iconic pieces of 20th century design.

Herman Miller Lounge chair 670 and ottoman 671 in Brazilian Rosewood from the 1970s. The rosewood panels have been restored, original leather.

The production of the Lounge Chair started in 1956 after several years of development. This particular example left Herman Miller's factory in the USA between 1970 and 1984. 

The molded plywood panels come with Brazilian Rosewood veneer (= Rio Palisander) and have been restored and refinished. This wood is a protected species now and cannot be exported anymore. 

The original leather cushions are in a good state with a few user marks for the seat and ottoman cushion. The armrests have been re-upholstered in a matching swiss leather.
