Nelson Perch Stool by George Nelson for Vitra, 2003 (2 available)

Regular price €650

Iconic Nelson Perch Stool, originally designed by George Nelson in 1964 and produced by Vitra (2003 edition).

The stool was conceived for drafting tables and standing workstations. Its distinctive narrow, slightly inclined seat allows the user to adopt a relaxed “perching” position between sitting and standing, making it particularly suitable for desks, kitchen counters or bar-height work surfaces.

The design combines a swivelling adjustable steel base with a comfortable seat upholstered in black leather, creating a clean and functional silhouette typical of Nelson’s modernist approach.

George Nelson (1908–1986) was one of the most influential figures in American modern design. As an architect, designer and long-time design director for Herman Miller, he played a major role in shaping post-war modernism.

Condition: very good overall condition. Minor traces of use on the base (see photos).
