Set of 4 Grand Prix chairs (model no. 4130 by Arne Jacobsen. Produced in the 1950-60s for Fritz Hansen, Denmark. Seats in plywood with teak veneer, legs in birchwood.
The design received the highest award at the Triennale in Milan in 1957 (thus the name “Grand Prix”).
Marked, some chairs with stickers from the shop Illums Bollighus in Copenhagen.
Timeless and rare. Moulded teak plywood, curved legs in stained beech wood. Restored / refinished.
