Made of Brass, Acid Tainted and Cut by Hand. Excellent state.
Svend Aage Holm Sørensen (1913-2004) was a danish designer. He is known for his self-produced lightings. He probably designed lamps for other danish manufacturers before creating his own business.
Once established, his own designs were sold under the name "Holm-Sorensen & Pedersen Belysning ApS" and later "Holm Sørensen A/S".
Holm Sørensen’s style was first influenced by Modernism and even De Stijl and Bauhaus.
In the 1960s, Holm Sørensen’s style changed completely. He began to work with unfinished brass and copper surfacesin typical Brutalist style, which was popular from the 1950s to the mid-70s.
