Mid-Century Table- or Desk-Lamp by Charlotte Perriand for Philips, 1950s
Modernist desk-Lamp made of one cut & bent sheet of metal, a very innovative design solution imagined by Charlotte Perriand for Philips.
This lamp uses a special tubular incandescent light bulb. The same type of bulb has also been used by Gerrit Rietveld in his 1920s hanging lamp. The lamp comes with a bulb in working order. These can still been bought today.
The lamp has been repainted in its original colour and retains all of it's original hardware including the brass glide profiles and switch element.
Works on 220v as well as 110v. The EU Plug can be replaced by US-version free of charge.
