Scandinavian Modernist Wall Light, Diabolo Lampshade, EAE Sweden, 1950s

€250

Small modernist Model 215 wall light produced by EAE in Sweden during the 1950s.

The lamp features a distinctive metal diabolo-shaped shade combined with an articulated brass joint and wall fitting. The adjustable construction allows the shade to be positioned and the light directed as required.

The adjustable shade allows the light to be directed as required, making it suitable both as an atmospheric wall light and as a small reading lamp.

A charming and less commonly seen example of Swedish 1950s lighting, with a particularly versatile scale.

Good vintage condition with minor age-related signs of wear and use. Please refer to the photographs for details.

Rewired. E14 socket.

Height 30cm - Diameter lampshade 11,5cm - Distance from wall 25cm
