Axella Ceramic Wall Lamp, Denmark

Regular price €760

This sculptural ceramic wall lamp was produced by Axella in Denmark during the 1970s.

The lamp is composed of three overlapping stoneware discs, each decorated with a concentric circular relief and finished in a warm brown glaze with natural tonal variations. The front disc is perforated with small openings that allow the light to pass through, creating a soft and atmospheric glow when the lamp is lit.

The layered composition gives the piece a strong graphic presence on the wall, even when turned off. The subtle irregularities in the glaze and the tactile surface reflect the character of Danish ceramic production of the period.

The lamp can be mounted either horizontally or vertically and is fitted with two E14 sockets. It can be easily placed and wired by removing the center disc.

A beautiful example of Scandinavian ceramic lighting from the 1970s.
