Mr. Gutfreund was the CEO of Salomon Brothers Bank, Business Week magazine called him "King of Wall Street".
The Gutfreund’s home was decorated by Henri Samuel, one of the pre-eminent US interior designers of the 20th century known as the Master of the French interior.
