Herman Miller Lounge chair 670 and ottoman 671 in Brazilian Rosewood, design by Ray & Charles Eames. The rosewood panels have been restored, original leather.
The production of the Lounge Chair started in 1956 after several years of development. This particular example left Herman Miller's factory in the USA between 1970 and 1984.
The plywood panels come with Brazilian Rosewood veneer (= Rio Palisander) and have been restored and refinished. This wood is a protected species now and cannot be exported anymore.
The original leather cushions are in a good state with a few user marks for the seat and ottoman cushion. The armrests have been re-upholstered in a matching swiss leather.
