Pair Blue ceramic table lamps Nils Thorsson for Fog & Morup / Royal Copenhagen 1960s

Pair table lamps created by Nils Thorsson, the Swedish art director of Royal Copenhagen in the 60s. They were produced in Denmark by Fog & Morup and distributed by Royal Copenhagen.

The lamps are decorated with abstract patterns created by Nils Thorsson. Swedish-Danish ceramic artist and designer Nils Johan Thorvald Thorsson (1898–1975) created a prolific body of work for the ceramics manufacturer Royal Copenhagen. His work is often presented as an exemplar of mid-century Danish modernism and is praised in the field of ceramic design.

The lamps come with new lampshades. They have been re-electrified and work on 110V and 220V. Original E26/E27 sockets. The EU plugs can be replaced by an US version free of charge.
