Pair of Ceramic Table Lamps by Esben Klint for Le Klint and Palshus, Denmark, 1960s
Elegant pair of Danish ceramic table lamps designed by Esben Klint and produced by Palshus for Le Klint.
Executed in chamotte stoneware, the lamps display a beautiful contrast between the unglazed upper section, which reveals the natural texture and warmth of the clay body, and the glazed lower section finished in a rich beige tone. This restrained combination of raw and refined surfaces reflects the material honesty and craftsmanship that define Danish modern design.
Esben Klint, son of the renowned architect and furniture designer Kaare Klint, created the model for Le Klint. The design perfectly reflects the Danish modern ideal: functional, restrained and timeless.
Very good vintage condition with minor traces of age and use consistent with their history. Re-electrified, new lampshades.
