Pair 420 dining chairs by Harry Bertoia for Knoll International, 1970s

Regular price €1.150

An elegant pair of 420 dining chairs designed by Harry Bertoia and produced by Knoll International during the 1970s.

Part of Bertoia’s celebrated wire furniture collection introduced in the 1950s, the 420 chair exemplifies his sculptural approach to industrial materials. Constructed from welded steel wire and finished in the original white Rilsan coating, the chairs combine visual lightness with remarkable structural strength.

This pair retains its original blue Knoll seat cushions and remains in very good vintage condition. The wire frames are straight and stable, showing only minor signs of age and use. New glides have recently been installed.

A timeless modernist design that works equally well around a dining table, in a home office, or as occasional seating.
