This striking pair of Orange Slice chairs was designed by Pierre Paulin and produced by Artifort. The chairs have been produced in the 1960s, the base is still nickel-plated in place of chromed and one of the chairs is signed. 

Newly reupholstered in a luxurious white bouclé fabric, they bring a crisp and contemporary feel to this timeless design of 1960.

Pierre Paulin (1927–2009) was a pioneering French designer known for his innovative use of form and upholstery. Throughout the 1960s and '70s, he redefined seating with sculptural, organic shapes that merged comfort with bold visual language. His collaborations with Artifort produced some of the most enduring icons of modern design - including the Orange Slice, celebrated for its playful elegance and fluid curves.
