A beautiful and increasingly scarce pair of large Søholm model 1080-3 table lamps designed by Einar Johansen and produced by Søholm Stentøj on the Danish island of Bornholm during the 1960s.

This is the largest version of the celebrated 1080 series. The design combines a broad cylindrical stoneware base with a tall tapered neck, accentuated by a finely ribbed transition that elegantly highlights the meeting of the two forms.

The rich crystalline glaze displays subtle variations between cobalt blue, teal and soft turquoise, creating exceptional depth and making every lamp unique. These sophisticated glazes became one of Søholm's defining characteristics and continue to attract collectors of Danish ceramics today.

The lamps have been professionally rewired and are fitted with new high-quality linen lampshades that complement the original proportions while providing a warm, diffused light.
