This striking pair of Orange Slice chairs was designed by Pierre Paulin and produced by Artifort, likely in the 1980s or 1990s. Recently reupholstered in a luxurious white bouclé fabric made of cotton and wool, they bring a crisp and contemporary feel to this timeless design of 1960.
Pierre Paulin (1927–2009) was a pioneering French designer known for his innovative use of form and upholstery. Throughout the 1960s and '70s, he redefined seating with sculptural, organic shapes that merged comfort with bold visual language. His collaborations with Artifort produced some of the most enduring icons of modern design - including the Orange Slice, celebrated for its playful elegance and fluid curves.
